The Galaxy Z Series Redefined Mobile Experiences

The Galaxy Z Series redefines mobile experiences. Designed for modern living, there’s no need for multiple devices when you have this foldable smartphone at your fingertips.

Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip feature a bespoke hinge with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® that’s tough enough to open and close thousands of times without breaking. They also have an Amour aluminium frame for day-to-day reliability.

Powerful Processors

Galaxy Z Series smartphones are designed for demanding apps and tasks. These foldables are built with premium processors that deliver powerful performance and fast-switching between multiple apps.

Galaxy AI powers the folding phones with smart features that make everyday life easier, more convenient and productive. When you see a word or phrase on the main screen, simply circle it with your finger to search with Google2. Or record meetings and use Note Assist1 to transform them into structured summaries. You can even use Galaxy AI to help break down language barriers.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, a powerful processor that delivers premium-level performance and advanced power efficiency. It enables faster CPU, GPU and NPU performance for the ultimate Galaxy AI experience.

A jumbo display optimized for gaming

The main displays on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 are optimized for the ultimate gaming experience. They support up to 2600 nits and feature Vision Booster, which automatically adjusts to the environment for optimal brightness.

Samsung also designed the foldables to be durable with a strengthened hinge that supports multiple folding positions. It’s made with enhanced Armor Aluminum2 and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 23, so it can withstand everyday wear and tear. Plus, it’s backed by a one-year warranty.

Stunning Cameras

The Galaxy Z Fold features dual cameras with ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. It also has a punch-hole front camera for high-quality selfies. The rear cameras are powered by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine with AI, delivering richer portraits and stunning scenes.

In well-lit environments, the Galaxy Z Fold’s cameras deliver excellent detail and good exposure with solid dynamic range. I did find some instances of oversharpening, however, which can detract from the image quality. The telephoto camera offers solid performance in low-light conditions, and I found the images were very natural-looking at all zoom levels.

I did find that the Pixel Fold’s images are better in several ways, particularly in terms of white balance and texture details. I was also able to see more contrast variation in the brick walls of the Pixel Fold’s shots compared to the Z Fold’s shots, but overall the Galaxy Z Fold’s cameras are still a strong choice for premium smartphones.

Samsung’s portrait mode is one of the best in the industry, and it works well across a wide range of subjects. You’ll be able to capture stunning photos of your friends and family with this device.

Flexible Screens

Samsung isn’t the first phone maker to have a foldable screen, but it did give us a taste of what it might be like with its Galaxy Z Flip 5. The device has a 7.3-inch main display that folds inside the handset to reveal a small cover window for notifications and other info. Samsung has a neat system that lets you switch between apps on the small exterior screen and the larger interior display.

The screen itself is an OLED display, which doesn’t use a backlight but rather generates light from the pixels themselves. That makes it much thinner and more flexible than LCD screens. Samsung uses a new layer of glass to make the screen more durable and scratch-resistant.

Most people will probably use their phones in Flex Mode, where the top half of the display reorients to fit your screen’s orientation. Most apps aren’t optimized for this, though Samsung’s default interface is and there’s a workaround in settings that lets you force any app into Flex Mode.

The bottom of the screen is held by an external hinge, which has been tested to withstand 200,000 folds. Both Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the mid-range Galaxy F Fold have these new hinge mechanisms, which is a big improvement over the flimsy folding hinges on older devices.

Versatile Design

The new Galaxy Z Series smartphones are unlike regular phones. They can fold like a book and open up to reveal an impressive pocketable screen. They also have powerful processors and can easily switch between apps. This makes them suitable for demanding tasks and heavy games. They are also capable of taking razor-sharp photos during the day and in low-light conditions.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Series Summer Vibes Pop-up Store invites visitors to experience all facets of the mobile lifestyle provided by this new line-up. They can learn how to use their Fold or Flip phone in a variety of ways through interactive zones, from immersive entertainment to multi-tasking. They can also learn how to create a one-of-a-kind phone strap and take part in an illustration workshop with local creative paper artist duo Stickyline.

A zero-gap hinge and advanced processing power combine in a sleek, lightweight design. The enhanced Fold5 and Z Flip5 are 10% thinner and lighter than previous models and feature an aesthetically refined folding edge and a new cover screen ratio. They are also made of enhanced Armour Aluminium and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus+ 2, for added durability.
