Ford is recalling more than 850,000 vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Ford is recalling 850,318 vehicles because the low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
The vehicles in the recall include:

- 2021-2023 Explorer
- 2021-2023 Lincoln Aviator
- 2021-2023 F-250 SD
- 2021-2023 F-350 SD
- 2021-2023 F-450 SD
- 2021-2023 F-550 SD
- 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator
- 2021-2022 Mustang
- 2021-2022 F-150
- 2022 Expedition vehicles
The remedy is under development. Owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed on July 14, 2025. Second letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S75.
