Galaxy S25 Edge scratches an itch that many users have been trying to get at for years, thanks to its thin and lightweight design. The Galaxy S25 Edge hit store shelves in May, so it’s still very new. It retails for $1,099, which isn’t cheap. However, with $315 off, you’re only paying $784, which is one of the steeper discounts we’ve seen from Samsung thus far! Especially for a phone that just came out.
✅Recommended if: You want one of the latest Samsung phones with a large display and an incredibly thin and light chassis.
❌Skip this deal if: You need great battery life and a telephoto camera at this price, or if you just don’t care to have a thin phone.
On the Edge of glory
Aside from the just-announced Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, the Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung’s latest and greatest among its flagship phones, with thinness being the common theme among them. At 5.8mm, it’s currently Samsung’s thinnest flagship phone, even if the company had to make some compromises to get there.
That said, despite the lack of a telephoto lens, our reviewer remained impressed with the 200MP primary camera and the phone’s overall camera performance.
That also goes for battery life, despite the relatively small capacity. Our reviewers say that it’s fairly easy to get roughly a day out of the phone, but don’t expect much more than that.
Still, in many ways, the Galaxy S25 Plus may be the better buy, depending on who you ask. But that doesn’t mean the Edge is a slouch, and if you wanna live on the edge, you only have a little bit of time before this discount goes away!
