Tesla has been in the news for mostly the wrong reasons, but a Model 3 in San Francisco has stolen the hearts of netizens with its unique number. The Instagram reel created a buzz in the digital world as it revealed a Tesla Model 3’s number plate sporting the name “R Indori”. Apart from showcasing his love for his hometown, Indore, the Tesla owner got all emotional about a typical Indian snack, which received a lot of comments from Instagram users.
From Sev Parmal to San Francisco
A reel was uploaded by an Instagram account under the name @rajivnemaindori, who showcased a spanking red Model 3 glistening in the sun sporting the number plate — R Indori. This grabbed a lot of attention on social media, with many Indians recalling their home state, Madhya Pradesh, and more so the city of Indore.
If the Tesla number plate was creating a buzz, then what the person said about artificial intelligence in front of OpenAI’s (ChatGPT) office brewed a storm on social media. He said, “It’s probably for the first time in history that a Tesla car has a number plate with Indori written on it.” He further said, “We are standing in front of OpenAI’s office, but no matter how much AI comes into our lives, there’s absolutely nothing that can beat sev parmal.”
The Instagram account was flooded with comments and reactions like @BhumikaDube said, ”Oh brother! Did you save the sev with poha or not?” @AmanSalvi commented, “Only Pewar Indori can do the style of eating Senv Parmal… Brother Ram.” @TheAnilSharda asks a tongue-in-cheek question, “How will AI satisfy stomach hunger?”
Tesla Model 3 India plans
Tesla has been testing the Model 3 in India and is expected to be the second vehicle to enter our market after the Model Y. The Tesla Model 3 is globally available in three variants — Long-Range RWD, Long-Range AWD, and Performance. The Long-Range RWD offers a claimed range of 584 km and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 4.9 seconds. The Long-Range AWD provides a 557 km range with a 0-100 kmph time of 4.2 seconds. The Performance variant achieves a 0-100 kmph sprint in 2.9 seconds. The Model 3 features a 15.4-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 8.0-inch screen for rear passengers. Tesla is expected to make its India debut soon.
